Get the best 2Do app out there and check your Todo App search off your list

One of my favorite productivity apps is called “2Do”. It is an incredible todo list app that seamlessly syncs with iCloud and the built in “Reminders” app. This app has a ton of features but I will summarize a few here so you can get an idea of how useful this tool can be. First of all, this app is a Universal app which means that you only have to buy one app that works on both the iPad and the iPhone (and iPod Touch). And again, with iCloud, it can seamlessly syncs with all your iOS devices. Once installed, Continue Reading →

Set a reminder or send a quick message in response to an incoming call you can’t take

In iOS 6, Apple introduced a helpful set of options to respond to an incoming call when your phone is locked. This comes in handy when you are in a meeting or can’t take a call for some other reason. Here is how to activate this feature: 1. Whenever you have an incoming call, you will see the little shape of a phone handset next to the “slide to answer” box. Simply swipe up on this phone handset icon to reveal response options. 2. After you swipe up on the handset icon, you have two options – “Reply with Message” Continue Reading →

Enable “Do Not Disturb” on iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch to give yourself a peaceful break

Apple introduced a helpful feature in iOS 6 called “Do Not Disturb”. When enabled, your device silences all incoming notifications, phone calls, and vibrating alerts. For once, you can enjoy a break from all those Facebook notifications :). Here is how to get the most out of this feature: Locate the “Do Not Disturb” toggle in the settings app. If you switch it on, you will notice a little moon appears to the right side of the time at the top of your screen. Further customization of the “Do Not Disturb” feature can be found by tapping on the “Notifications” Continue Reading →

Recommended App: Genius Scan

Genius Scan turns your iPhone into a pocket scanner. It enables you to quickly scan documents on the go and email the scans as JPEG or PDF. I use this app all the time to scan documents into Evernote. Evernote is an electronic document filing system that I use. Here is an example of how helpful Genius Scan can be. I take my Honda Accord in to the shop to get the oil changed. When I get my car back, they print out the invoice with the date and the odometer reading as proof of the service performed on the Continue Reading →
