Apple introduces Video sharing via Photo Stream in iOS 7 and Apple TV 6.0

Apple introduces video sharing via Photo Stream in iOS 7 and Apple TV 6.0. When Apple first announced Photo Stream back in 2011, many were disappointed that it was only limited to photos. In the past, there hasn’t been a way to share videos via iCloud, till now. With iOS 7 and Apple TV OS 6.0, you can now upload a video to a shared photo stream (quality is reduced to 720p). The coolest part about this is that videos added to a shared photo stream do not count against your iCloud storage limit. This means that you could download Continue Reading →

The Apple TV I received was a refurbished model.  If there are any in stock, I really recommend going the refurbished route if you decide to purchase an Apple TV.  Apple’s refurbished products Continue Reading →

3 of my Favorite Wallpaper Photos for iPhone and iPod Touch

Wallpaper for iPhone and iPod Touch

Placing the right wallpaper photo on the background of your iOS home screen can make a big difference in the aesthetics of your device. I have taken some photos over the past several months that work amazingly as wallpaper for the iPhone and iPod Touch. All 3 photos were shot with my iPhone 4S. For the 2 macro photos I used the Macro Olloclip Lens attachment (check it out on Amazon: Olloclip Lens for iPhone 4/4S, Olloclip for iPhone 5). The other one I shot using an app called SlowShutter which gives the photo a soft blurry feel. 4 Hardware Improvement wishes for the iPhone 5S and iPhone 6

Wish list for future iPhone 5S and iPhone 6

Having been an iPhone user since the original iPhone was introduced in 2007, I have thought a lot about specific hardware improvements that would make the overall user experience better. There is a way to fix this on your iPhone, iPad (Mini), and iPod Touch. In fact, you can auto-enhance any photo and do basic photo editing including cropping (resizing) with any picture on your iOS Continue Reading →

3 Essential Photography Accessories for your iPhone 4/4S and iPhone 5

iPhone 4S photo with Olloclip Macro Lens

It is amazing how the smartphone camera is quickly replacing point-and-shoot cameras. There are times that I even leave my Nikon DSLR at home because I know I have my iPhone 4S with me that will take incredible photos. In addition, the improved optics on the iPhone 5 make your pictures look even better and allow you to take clearer photos in low light situations. Who knows, with the iPhone 6 or iPhone 7, wedding photographers might get rid of their fancy cameras and start using their iPhone… (ok, that’s taking it a bit far, but you get my point).
