As you add more apps to your iPhone, iPad , or iPod Touch, it can become increasingly difficult to locate the apps when you need them. This is especially true if you have created folders for your apps. Thankfully, there is an easy way to search for and open any app on your device (this also works with contacts, texts, emails, and more). If you are running iOS 7 or later, all you need to do is to pull down on the the Home Screen. This will initiate a Spotlight search.
Once in Spotlight, just start typing the name of the app you would like to launch.
When that app appears in the list, just tap it and the app will open – easy as that!
