How to insert a photo or video directly into an email message

There is a simple way to add a photo right into the text you are typing in an email. Here is how: 1. Tap and hold where you want to insert the photo. The magnifying glass will appear so you can precisely insert the cursor where you want it. 2. Release your hold and a menu will appear with options to “Select” “Select All” or “Paste”. Apple introduced a helpful feature in iOS 6 called “Do Not Disturb”. When enabled, your device silences all incoming notifications, phone calls, and vibrating alerts. Display Hourly Weather in Weather App

  The built in weather app on the iPhone can easily display hourly weather. Here’s how: 1. Launch the weather app 2. Tap on the second day listed and drag down. The first day listed will expand to show hourly weather. 3. Tap and drag back up to return it to normal. 4. Alternatively, you can tap on the text in the weather app titled “hourly” under the city name.

Use “Volume Up” Button to Take a Picture

Anytime you go to take a picture with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, you can use the “Volume Up” button on the side of the device as the shutter release. This makes it much more like a point-and-shoot camera avoiding the need to touch the right part of your screen while taking a picture.
