Everything new from Apple’s “Hey Siri” event

Last Wednesday, September 9th, Apple held a gigantic keynote event in the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. The iPhone usually takes center stage at Apple’s fall events, but this time the company had so much more to announce! Let’s take a quick look at what they unveiled. Apple Watch – Watch OS 2, New Models, New Bands The first thing Apple covered in their keynote was Apple Watch. The watch is a new product category for them, and it seems like so far the Apple Watch has been extremely successful. Apple already talked details about Watch OS 2, which will Continue Reading →

Jawbone UP Review – Two months wearing a fitness tracker

For the last two months I’ve been wearing the Jawbone UP, a fitness tracker. Let’s see what this experience can tell us about using the Apple Watch. The dawn of the Apple Watch is upon us. It remains to be seen if Apple’s latest new product will redefine the industry like the Mac, iPod, iPhone, and iPad did. Will the new iPhone 6 be called the iPhone Air?

Will the new iPhone 6 be called the iPhone Air

Over the years, Apple has continued to refine and perfect the whole line of iOS devices: iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad (Mini, Air). Each year, the devices get thinner, better battery life, and better camera capabilities. On September 9, Apple is poised to announce another iteration of the iPhone. This could be the biggest and most dramatic change to the iPhone since it was introduced. My prediction is that this year, Apple will drop the number that goes along with each iPhone (4, 4S, 5, 5c, 5s) and just call the new iPhone, the iPhone Air just like it did Continue Reading →

ayeris Review – The best iOS 7 theme for jailbroken iPhone and iPod Touch

This post reviews ayeris, a new theme for jailbroken devices running iOS 7 that brings a subtle, but welcome, redesign to the iOS 7 icons and interface. One of the benefits of jailbreaking an iOS device is installing custom themes that change the icons and interface. Arguably, themes became even more beneficial with the advent of iOS 7’s controversial icon redesign. ayeris is a new theme by renowned designer Surenix that takes iOS 7’s design influences and enhances them, bringing subtle changes and a pastel-neon color palette. In this post, we’ll hold ayeris under the magnifying glass and show why Continue Reading →
